Inspire, Learn and Start: How to Build Big Data Capabilities in the Enterprise

By Jan-Willem Middelburg

Welcome to Big Data Days 2022! Most enterprises have now realized that ‘Big Data’ is not just a project or department that can be managed by (a part of) the IT department. To obtain long-term value from Big Data, there is more required than hiring smart data scientists and acquiring a Big Data technology stack. Rather, data-driven thinking and data-driven decision making should become part of the organization’s DNA. This is, however, easier said than done.

In this opening keynote, Jan-Willem Middelburg, the author of the Enterprise Big Data Framework publications, will take you on the transformation journey towards a Data Driven. He will explain how any organization, regardless of size or industry, can get started with building critical capabilities. In his presentation, he will discuss the six major domains that every organization needs to obtain long-term value form massive sets of data. Join Mr. Jan-Willem in this opening keynote to be inspired by the possibilities that Big Data brings to the enterprise.

Learn about new techniques and capabilities that you can use in your organizations. And finally, take away practical advice to get started/ Inspire, Learn and Start your Big Data journey!
