This 2-day Data Privacy and Data Security Fundamentals course is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the basics of data privacy and data security, which are essential to protect personal information and secure sensitive data. The course will cover various aspects of data privacy and data security, from data privacy regulations to data security best practices, and will also cover data encryption and access control, incident response and disaster recovery.
Throughout the course, participants will gain a deep understanding of data privacy and data security and their importance, and will learn to understand data privacy and data security concepts and terminology. They will learn about data privacy regulations, including an overview of regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA, and will learn about compliance requirements and best practices.

Successfully passing (65%) the 60-minute examination, consisting of 40 multiple-choice questions, leads to the Data Privacy and Security Fundamentals certificate. The examination and certification process is administered by APMG-International on behalf of the Enterprise Big Data Framework Alliance.
