About the Academic Partner Program
The EBDFA Academic Partner Program (APP) helps universities, colleges and other academic institutions to offer knowledge about Data Science & Big Data best practices to their communities. By joining the Academic Partner Program, your institution will receive access to all the course materials, labs and exercises that have been developed as part of the Enterprise Big Data certification scheme. Your instructors can incorporate syllabi and learning objectives into existing course curricula to promote and advance the Big Data profession.
In addition, your university will join other renowned educational institutes in order to share knowledge, exchange ideas and contribute to the further advancement of the industry. By joining the Academic Partner Program, you will also be provided with the opportunity to host formal certification sessions, empowering your students with access to the globally recognized certifications of the EBDFA and APMG-International.

How does the Academic Partner Program work?
The EBDFA Academic Partner Program is open to universities, colleges and other academic institutions that have been recognized by their national government accreditation bodies. Universities that are have already been formally accredited by APMG International will be automatically accepted.
The EBDFA Academic Partner Program assists academic entities to fast-track their Big Data and Data Science curricula, by providing access to the course materials that have been developed as part of the Enterprise Big Data Framework Certification Scheme.
Most academic institutions join the Academic Partner program for one of the following reasons:
Institutions who are interested to apply for the EBDFA Academic Partner Program will need to apply by completing the Academic Program application form. After verification of the institute’s credentials, a formal partnership contract will need to be signed. To recognize differences in economic development, the EBDFA will charge an annual partner program fee that is based on the World Bank Economic Development Index.
Please note that EBDFA will only approve academic partners who are able to comply with the EBDFA Code of Conduct and EBDFA norms on academic integrity. Partners will only receive access to the course material portal after successful completion of the Academic Partner program.
