Navin Sinnathamby: The Role of Big Data and Machine Learning in Agriculture | Big Data Talks #13

Today, I am very happy to announce my next guest, Navin Sinnathamby, who is based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Navin is an experienced executive and an expert specialist in the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data Analytics (BDA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). He holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Electronics and Communications from Multimedia University, Malaysia.

Navin currently serves as the Head of Digital AgTech, Sectorial Projects and DroneTech at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). MDEC is an agency under the Ministry of Communications and Digital Malaysia (KKD) with a close to 27-year track record of successfully leading the ICT and digital economy growth in Malaysia. Navin leads key national initiatives under the Vertical Ecosystem Technology Innovation focus pillar; bridging both the demand and supply ecosystem towards digital empowerment at scale to deliver potential impact at scale, across key economic sectors.

Navin brings with him over 16 years of industrial experience with a wide spectrum of roles covering stakeholder engagements, strategy planning, ecosystem building, professional training, business development, networking communication, program development and talent enablement with significant exposure to project management.
