In today’s business, Data Literacy has become an important skill set for almost everyone in an organization. The ability to interpret data, draw insights, and communicate data findings is the desired skill set required by almost all companies in today’s digital-driven companies.

Poor data literacy is ranked as the second-biggest internal roadblock to the success of the CDO’s office, according to the Gartner Annual Chief Data Officer Survey.

More knowledge workers in non-data science roles will turn to advanced analytic techniques. In 2023, increased investments in data literacy and upskilling will take data analytics out of the realm of specialty roles and into the entire organization.

In this panel, we will look into the value of data literacy in a business, methods to kickstart a data-literate organization, and why some data literacy plans may fail. The panel is moderated by Jan-Willem Middelburg, chief examiner and author of the Enterprise Big Data Framework.
